The use of new technologies such as machine vision or the use of 3D printers at PLASTGrommet is essential to speed up prototyping and improve the production chain. 3D printing, for example, makes it possible to design and validate parts quickly, which facilitates the iteration and refinement of components.

All in One Project

The All In One finishing equipment represents a key innovation for our customers. An integral and efficient solution for the finishing of banners where welding, eyelet placement and cutting of banners are combined in a single machine.

Origin
In 2017 Cactus Imagin (Australia) visits us at that year’s FESPA international show and asks us to provide a solution to an automation problem they have.
Objective
To design a machine that has the capacity to finish printed banners with: welding, eyelet placement and cutting in an automated way. In addition, the placement of the eyelets must be done by reading marks printed on the edge of the banner.
Execution / Manufacturing
The first version of the All In One is completed in 2017.

After an evolution throughout these years, we are offering the best version of that first All In One. In 2025 Cactus already has a total of 3 PLASTGrommet banner finishing systems that are pushing it to be a reference in its country.
